Board Approves Memorial Garden

A plan, supported by a grant, to create a Memorial and Meditation Garden at the South Campus of First Community Church has been approved by the church's Governing Board.



Sallie Davis, Don Gepfert, and Bob Wandel have led the development and planning of the Memorial Garden. Bob Wandel is leading the design, bidding, and implementation of the project. This garden will be located in the courtyard adjacent to the southern side of the sanctuary. Work on the Memorial and Meditation Garden is expected to begin in late summer and completed by fall.
